Bethel Baptist Church was started in Vicksburg, Indiana and organized under Pastor George Hanna in 1851. In 1988, the church built a new building at its current location at the top of Sisco Hill in Linton. Since its founding, the church has had many different pastors with most of them only serving for a handful of years. In May of 2004, Dr. Doug Cassel became the pastor and has served faithfully as the longest tenured pastor in our church’s history.
